Those who believe in the universal language, also wish culture and thoughts became universal. What would that lead to? Would it lead to better international relations? In my opinion, history would make a circle. Why I believe so? Well, we all know the biblical history of Babel.
I strongly believe, that various languages are meant to be, that is how the world is built. The language will always remain the heart of a culture. I don't think it's a matter of language that nations have bad relations, it's rather a matter of not willing to open their minds and hearts. Good intentions are crucial to have good relations and an universal language wouldnt solve that problem.
Moreover, one language would take away lots of fun. What do I mean by that? Well, we all like travelling do we. Isnt it exciting when your in a place you dont understand anything at all, and of course nobody understands you. Thats when the instinct of survival awakens is us, adrenaline and stress make us ready for action. What a loss of experience would that be.
Furthermore , in my opinion life is more interesting with many languages. Learning languages is fun and exciting. The feeling of knowing a few languages makes you feel you've lived your life learning and working on your talents that God gave you.
To conclude, one nation, one culture and one language isnt the way to make life and relations among nations better. Losing that fun, excitement in learning new languages and exploring cultures. Maybe it is a way out. But we all know how it ended in Babel, do we.
